What defines the field

Start here for the key results that matter most in this edition.

  1. Final table

    Azir first, Kai'Sa second

Azir won the captured event, Kai'Sa finished #2, and Kennen placed #3 as Vendetta’s highest new Legend.

  2. New-set read

    Kennen leads Vendetta’s nine

Kennen reached #3 with 9 public lists. It is the only new Vendetta Legend in this event’s Top 8.

  3. Sample limit

14 public Irelia lists lead the field

93 lists are public, while 12 placement positions have no public list and 8 lists carry source-incomplete notes. Counts are evidence; the format is not settled.

    Azir

    Azir, Emperor of the Sands

    Entries

    Top 8s
    1
    Best
    #1
    Why this rank

Azir is first because its only public entry won the captured 3-star event. That result earns the top placement band, but one complete list cannot establish field-wide consistency or a settled power level.

    Meta read

The winning list turns Equipment into both durable Might and Sand Soldier production. Azir can make a Soldier after an Equipment has been played, Arise! scales its token count with Equipment already in play, and Deathgrip can convert an expendable body into a same-turn Might transfer plus a card. That is a coherent pressure engine, while the singleton sample keeps the conclusion tied to this finish.

  2. Snapshot rank02

    Kai'Sa

    Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void

    Entries

    Top 8s
    1
    Best
    #2
    Why this rank

Kai'Sa takes second on the strength of a runner-up finish from three public entries. The other finishes were 33rd and 91st, so Snapshot 0 records an excellent peak alongside a very wide result spread.

    Meta read

All three complete lists share a spell-heavy control core: Falling Star deals 3, Stupefy trims Might while replacing itself, and Kai'Sa supplies an extra rainbow rune specifically for spells. Time Warp gives that stabilized board another full turn, but its six total copies across three lists represent a costly payoff that still needs the earlier interaction to create a useful window.

  3. Snapshot rank03

    Kennen

    Kennen, Heart of the Tempest

    Entries

    Best
    #3
    Why this rank

Kennen ranks third after placing 3rd, 11th, 19th, 22nd, and 25th among its five best public finishes. Nine entries make it the most represented top-four Legend here, although two source-incomplete lists are excluded from card-frequency claims.

    Meta read

Kennen rewards cards played from outside the hand, and the shared list core supplies two distinct routes. Lightning Rush selects from the top three, puts the rest into the trash, and can later be played for Flow; Fizz can instead replay an eligible spell from the trash and recycle it afterward. Stacked Deck improves selection but recycles the two unchosen cards, so it should be read as consistency rather than a trash-filling engine.

  4. Snapshot rank04

    Ezreal

    Ezreal, Prodigal Explorer

    Entries
    6
    Top 8s
    1
    Best
    #4
    Why this rank

Ezreal is fourth because its best entry reached 4th, with another at 10th from six public lists. Finishes of 29th, 52nd, 58th, and 62nd keep the evidence from supporting a uniformly dominant reading.

    Meta read

Ezreal draws after spells or unit abilities have chosen enemy units or gear twice in a turn. Bellows Breath can choose up to three units at one location, Stupefy chooses a unit and cantrips, and Turn to Dust chooses gear, giving the shell several ways to satisfy that exact condition. Fizz extends the spell economy by replaying one eligible trash spell, but it recycles that spell rather than creating a repeatable loop.

    Best
    #5
    Why this rank

Master Yi leads the Top 8 band with a 5th-place finish and added results at 9th and 18th. Eight complete entries also produced 94th, 95th, and 103rd, so the rank recognizes the peak without hiding the long lower tail.

    Meta read

The shared core is a precision-combat shell rather than a single combo. Master Yi adds two Might to a lone defender, Punch First supplies a five-Might swing, First Mate readies another unit when played, and Rengar can enter a contested battlefield as an Ambush. Those tools create flexible combat arithmetic, while deciding when to preserve the lone-defender bonus versus adding an Ambush unit is a real sequencing tension.

  2. Snapshot rank06

    Irelia

    Irelia, Blade Dancer

    Entries
    14
    Top 8s
    1
    Best
    #6
    Why this rank

Irelia ranks sixth on a 6th-place finish, with further public results at 13th, 17th, and 20th. Fourteen entries led the field in representation, but three incomplete sources are excluded from the 11-list card denominator.

    Meta read

Irelia converts choosing and moving friendly units into repeated readiness. When Defiant Dance's +2 Might is used on a friendly unit, it can satisfy Irelia's choose condition while shifting another unit down; Ride the Wind moves and readies, and Stellacorn Herder draws when it moves. The package can turn positioning actions into cards and another unit use, but it spends runes and exhausts Irelia, so the sequence still has to preserve enough resources for the showdown itself.

  3. Snapshot rank07

    Rek'Sai

    Rek'Sai, Void Burrower

    Entries
    3
    Top 8s
    1
    Best
    #7
    Why this rank

Rek'Sai is seventh because its best of three entries finished 7th. The other two placed 48th and 53rd, making this another strong peak from a small sample rather than evidence of stable results across the field.

    Meta read

The deck is built around revealing and converting top-deck units. Rek'Sai's conquer trigger may play one of the top two cards, while Void Rush can banish and play one of its top two with an Energy reduction. Undertitan adds two Energy when revealed and gives the other units +2 Might when played, so the sequence produces both resource relief and a board-wide combat push without making Undertitan free of its Power cost.

  4. Snapshot rank08

    Viktor

    Viktor, Herald of the Arcane

    Best
    #8
    Why this rank

Viktor closes the Top 8 band with finishes of 8th and 43rd from two complete entries. The top-eight result is meaningful for this ledger, while the two-list denominator makes the shared core provisional.

    Meta read

Viktor can make Recruit bodies, and both lists pair expendable units with damage and death payoffs. Imperial Decree makes any amount of damage lethal for the turn, so Bellows Breath can turn one-point pings into kills across one location. Shadow's Call gives a non-Temporary unit Temporary and draws two, while Viktor, Leader replaces dying non-Recruit units with Recruit tokens, creating a separate value line around planned losses.

    Best
    #12
    Why this rank

Pyke leads the Top 16 band with a 12th-place finish from two complete entries. The second list finished 78th, so the event shows one notable run but not a repeatable result pattern.

    Meta read

Pyke is a tempo-and-resource Legend here, not a proven recursion engine. Returning a friendly battlefield unit to hand creates a Gold gear, and replaying that unit can help reach the second-card threshold for Darius, Trifarian, which then gains Might and readies. Tail-Cloaked Matriarch supplies a separate trash-to-board line, but the evidence supports describing multiple value routes rather than one deterministic loop.

  2. Snapshot rank10

    Lillia

    Lillia, Bashful Bloom

    Entries
    4
    Top 8s
    0
    Best
    #14
    Why this rank

Lillia is tenth after finishes of 14th, 21st, 28th, and 59th. Three lists are complete enough for card analysis; the fourth remains part of the result sample but is excluded from shared-card denominators.

    Meta read

The three complete lists share a Temporary-unit engine. Sprite Burst and Sprite Fountain put ready Sprite bodies into play, reducing Lillia's activated cost for another ready Sprite; Smoke and Mirrors can swap units across locations when at least one is Temporary and then draw. The pressure is immediate, but Temporary bodies die at the controller's next Beginning Phase, so their positioning and scoring window must be planned rather than treated as permanent board development.

  3. Snapshot rank11

    Akali

    Akali, Rogue Assassin

    Entries
    3
    Top 8s
    0
    Best
    #15
    Why this rank

Akali ranks eleventh on a 15th-place peak, with additional finishes at 60th and 66th. Only two of the three lists are complete, so the card read is narrower than the placement sample.

    Meta read

The complete lists agree on a movement-and-combat shell. Shuriken Flip deals two, moves a friendly unit, and can be replayed once through Flow; on Akali's controller's turn, Akali can pull a friendly unit from a showdown back to base and ready it if she is Empowered. Mournful Witness rewards surviving combat with its own Empower state, while Zhonya's Hourglass provides a one-shot survival line. These effects create multiple ways to preserve or reuse units, but the exact packages diverge beyond the shared core.

  4. Snapshot rank12

    Annie

    Annie, Dark Child

    Entries
    1
    Top 8s
    0
    Best
    #16
    Why this rank

Annie closes the Top 16 band because its single public list finished 16th. The placement is concrete, but the singleton denominator does not show whether this reaction-heavy build is representative.

    Meta read

Annie's end-step rune readiness supports a list dense with flexible reactions and surprise deployment. Rengar, Pouncing can enter the battlefield being attacked, Flash can pull up to two friendly units back to base, and Gust Monk can turn an extra Energy into trash interaction plus Assault 2. Long Sword and other gear add combat pressure, while the sequencing asks the deck to manage its runes before Annie restores up to two at end of turn.

    Jayce

    Jayce, Defender of Tomorrow

    Why this rank

Jayce leads the Top 32 band with a best finish of 23rd from five complete entries. The remaining placements were 50th, 55th, 72nd, and 77th, so the event shows a repeated archetype without a Top 16 result.

    Meta read

Jayce's lists spend early resources assembling gears and high-end free-play effects. Platewyrm Egg enters exhausted, then can add Energy after it is ready; Jayce supplies gear readiness, and his Empowered mode can ready two gears. Dazzling Aurora turns an end step into a free unit from the deck, while Promising Future creates another Energy-cost bypass that still requires Power. The mechanical upside is large, but those setup cards occupy resources and board slots before their later payoff window.

    Key interactions

    Ready the exhausted Egg

Platewyrm Egg enters exhausted. Jayce can pay and exhaust to ready it, after which the Egg can exhaust as a reaction to add one Energy. Its two-Energy mode separately requires empowering and readying the Egg again.

    End-step free-play payoff

Dazzling Aurora reveals until it finds a unit at the end of the turn, banishes that unit, and plays it while ignoring its cost. The five lists all paired it with high-cost Elder Dragon.

    Builds seen at this event

All five lists maxed Dazzling Aurora and Elder Dragon; Bellows Breath, Flurry of Blades, and Sabotage totaled 14 copies each. Clairvoyance and Promising Future also appeared in every list.

    Rengar

    Rengar, Pridestalker

    Why this rank

Rengar is fourteenth with finishes of 24th, 31st, and 81st. Only the 31st- and 81st-place lists are complete enough for card-frequency analysis, so the shared build below does not describe the best finisher.

    Meta read

The two complete Rengar lists turn every unit played into a temporary one-Might allocation and choose where those plays matter. Rengar, Trophy Hunter can Ambush into a battlefield with enemy units, while Thrill of the Hunt banishes a friendly unit and immediately plays it to any battlefield, retriggering both that unit's play text and the Legend's buff. This creates flexible chosen-combat turns in the analyzable lists, but the 24th-place source is incomplete and cannot verify that same package.

    Key interaction

Replay a unit into the chosen fight

Thrill of the Hunt banishes a friendly unit and has its owner play it to any battlefield while ignoring its cost. That new play triggers Rengar's +1 Might allocation and can repeat the unit's own play ability.

    Builds seen at this event

    Shen

    Shen, Eye of Twilight

    Why this rank

Shen ranks fifteenth after closely grouped finishes of 26th and 30th. Both public lists are complete, giving a clean but still very small two-deck view of the archetype.

    Meta read

One of the two complete Shen lists contains an exact-board-shape subpackage. Disciple of Shen gains Shield 3 only when exactly one other friendly unit is at its battlefield, and Shadow Dash gives both friendly units +1 Might only if there are exactly two after it moves an enemy there. Shen can then grant Tank to determine which friendly unit receives combat damage first. Shadow Dash is shared, but Disciple appears only in that one list, so this is a featured branch rather than the universal core.

    Key interaction

    Protect the exact-two formation

In one of the two complete lists, Disciple of Shen has Shield 3 while exactly one other friendly unit shares its battlefield. Shadow Dash can preserve that exact-two bonus while moving an enemy there; Shen can give one unit Tank.

    Builds seen at this event

Both lists maxed Affectionate Poro, Defy, and Discipline. Shadow Dash and Vi, Peacekeeper appeared in both at five total copies each, while Disciple of Shen was a three-of in only one list.

    Draven

    Draven, Glorious Executioner

    Why this rank

Draven is sixteenth with three complete entries finishing 27th, 39th, and 42nd. The clustered results support a coherent mid-field read, but there is no Top 16 result in this event.

    Meta read

Draven draws when a combat is won, and the shared shell is built for short, high-leverage combat swings. Spinning Axe is a Quick-Draw Equipment that can appear during a reaction window, while Kai'Sa, Survivor can enter ready through Accelerate and draws after conquering. A combat that both clears the opposition and conquers can therefore pay cards through Draven and Kai'Sa, but the extra draw still depends on actually winning and scoring that combat.

    Key interaction

Combat win into two draw checks

Spinning Axe can be attached as a reaction to alter combat Might. If Kai'Sa, Survivor then conquers after Draven's side wins the combat, Draven draws for the win and Kai'Sa draws for the conquer.

    Builds seen at this event

All three lists maxed Kai'Sa, Spinning Axe, and Stacked Deck. Overzealous Fan and Tideturner totaled eight copies each, while Darius, Falling Star, Draven, Flash, and Switcheroo appeared in all three.

    Sett

    Sett, The Boss

    Why this rank

Sett closes the Top 32 band with two complete lists at 32nd and 44th. The first result reaches the band's boundary exactly; the second shows the same core operating in the next placement range.

    Meta read

Sett treats persistent buffs as both pressure and protection. Arena Bar buffs an exhausted unit, Showstopper buffs a unit in base before moving it to a battlefield, and Sett may spend a buff to save a buffed unit that would die. Call to Glory creates a separate choice: spend a buff to ignore its cost and gain +3 Might for the turn, or retain that buff as Sett's rescue resource. The engine is flexible, but every spent buff reduces future protection.

    Key interaction

A buff is offense or insurance

Arena Bar can place a persistent buff on an exhausted unit. Sett may later spend that buff to prevent the unit's death, while Call to Glory can instead spend it to ignore the spell's cost and grant +3 Might for the turn.

    Builds seen at this event

Both lists maxed Arena Bar, Call to Glory, First Mate, Irresistible Faefolk, Pit Rookie, Punch First, Rengar, Trophy Hunter, and Showstopper. The shared 24-card block makes the buff-combat plan unusually explicit.

The field

Outside the Top 32; too early for a power-tier judgment. · 12 decks

  1. 18

    Nasus

    Nasus, Curator of the Sands

    Why this rank

Nasus leads the field band outside the Top 32 with finishes of 34th and 93rd. The 59-place spread and two-list sample make 34th a peak result, not a stable estimate.

    Meta read

The shared plan builds toward the seven-rune and seven-Energy thresholds. Find Your Center channels a rune and replaces itself, Siphoning Strike upgrades from four to seven damage at seven runes and channels another rune if its target dies, and playing Thousand-Tailed Watcher can trigger Nasus because its Energy cost is seven. That payoff also shrinks enemy units, but the deck must assemble a larger rune base before both its removal and Legend readiness reach full value.

    Key interactions

    Seven Energy reopens runes

Playing Thousand-Tailed Watcher satisfies Nasus's seven-Energy condition, allowing Nasus to exhaust and ready up to two runes. The Watcher simultaneously gives enemy units -3 Might for the turn, to a minimum of one.

    Seven runes upgrade the strike

Siphoning Strike deals four to a unit, or seven while its controller has at least seven runes. If that unit dies during the turn, the spell also channels a rune exhausted.

    Builds seen at this event

Both lists maxed Defy, Discipline, Find Your Center, Scuttle Crab, Steel Paws, and Stupefy. Thousand-Tailed Watcher appeared in both at five copies total; Astral Heron and Siphoning Strike were also universal.

    Kha'Zix

    Kha'Zix, Voidreaver

    Why this rank

Kha'Zix is nineteenth after three complete entries finished 35th, 38th, and 80th. Two near-Top-32 results show a credible peak, while the third keeps the sample from reading as consistently converted.

    Meta read

The list core uses movement to seek favorable combat geometry. Void Assault moves one friendly and then one enemy unit, Shadow Order Disciple gains temporary Might whenever it moves by burning a card, and Kha'Zix can spend XP to move an exhausted friendly unit back to base. Rengar, Trophy Hunter can then Ambush into a battlefield with enemies. These tools can arrange isolation and repositioning, but they require coordinated movement, trash cost, or previously earned XP rather than guaranteeing an isolated fight.

    Key interaction

Move both sides, grow the Disciple

Void Assault moves a friendly unit and then an enemy unit. If the friendly unit is Shadow Order Disciple, its move can Burn one card to grant it +1 Might for the turn before the newly arranged combat.

    Builds seen at this event

    Ornn

    Ornn, Fire Below the Mountain

    Why this rank

Ornn ranks twentieth because its only public list finished 37th. That is the complete result record for this event, so both the placement and the build remain singleton evidence.

    Meta read

The featured list uses Ornn as a gear-specific resource accelerator. Ornn can add a rainbow rune only for playing gear or using gear abilities, and Ornn's Forge makes the first non-token gear each turn one Energy cheaper. Brutalizer and Sterak's Gage then attach through Equip, with Sterak's Quick-Draw adding reaction timing. The value depends on sequencing the first gear and reserving Ornn's exhaust for the gear action that needs the extra rune.

    Key interaction

Discount and fund the first gear

While Ornn's Forge is controlled, the first friendly non-token gear each turn costs one less Energy. Ornn can also exhaust as a reaction to add a rainbow rune specifically for playing gear or activating gear abilities.

    Builds seen at this event

    Miss Fortune

    Miss Fortune, Bounty Hunter

    Why this rank

Miss Fortune is twenty-first with one complete list at 47th. The result places this build in the middle of the field, but one entry cannot establish a broader baseline.

    Meta read

The featured list invests in rune development before large free-play and area-damage payoffs. Catalyst of Aeons channels two runes exhausted, Dazzling Aurora can play the first unit it reveals at end step while ignoring its cost, and Bullet Time converts any amount of paid rainbow runes into damage across an enemy battlefield. Miss Fortune's Ganking grant adds a positional route for an existing unit, but the high-end plan still asks the list to assemble runes and survive until those payoffs are live.

    Key interactions

Build runes, then scale Bullet Time

Catalyst of Aeons channels up to two runes exhausted. Bullet Time later accepts any amount of rainbow runes and deals that much damage to every enemy unit at one battlefield.

    Free-play the high end

At the end of the turn, Dazzling Aurora reveals until it finds a unit, banishes it, and plays it while ignoring its cost. The featured list used three Elder Dragons as the clearest high-end target.

    Builds seen at this event

    Diana

    Diana, Scorn of the Moon

    Why this rank

Diana ranks twenty-second with three complete finishes at 51st, 71st, and 75th. The repeated entries give a usable build sample, but none reached the Top 32 placement bands in this event.

    Meta read

Diana supplies one Energy that can be spent only during showdowns, and the lists connect that resource to a mobile value-spell shell. Moonfall can gather an enemy unit into a chosen battlefield and reduce all enemies there by two Might, while Tideturner swaps itself with another friendly unit across locations. Hwei turns movement into filtering and a card-type payoff. The engine has several linked decisions, but each payoff asks the deck to coordinate location, timing, and the card discarded by Hwei.

    Key interactions

    Movement turns into card selection

Tideturner may exchange locations with another friendly unit when it enters. Moving Hwei causes a draw and discard, then grants another draw, rune readiness, or +3 Might according to the discarded card's type.

    Compress one battlefield

Moonfall may move an enemy unit into a battlefield where you have units, then gives every enemy unit there -2 Might for the turn. Diana's reaction ability can add one Energy during that showdown.

All three lists maxed Hwei, Ravenbloom Student, Stacked Deck, Stupefy, and Tideturner. Moonfall totaled eight copies, Ride the Wind eight, Star-Crossed seven, and Fizz six across the complete sample.

    Mel

    Mel, Soul's Reflection

    Why this rank

Mel is twenty-third after four complete finishes at 54th, 67th, 74th, and 102nd. This is a repeated lower-field signal from one event, not a causal diagnosis or a claim about the Legend's future ceiling.

    Meta read

The universal core is only Stacked Deck, Stupefy, and Rebuttal, while the Empower package appears in three of four lists. Applied Researchers can empower itself to reduce spell costs, which also empowers Mel; Mel may then disempower to apply -2 Might. Shock Blast costs two less while anything Empowered is controlled, creating a clear linked Empower sequence. The split in secondary cards shows several versions trying to connect spell control, gear control, and an Empower payoff rather than one settled list.

    Key interaction

One Empower turns on two payoffs

Empowering Applied Researchers also empowers Mel. Researchers then reduces spell costs, Mel can spend her Empower state to give a battlefield unit -2 Might, and Shock Blast costs two less while any Empowered permanent remains.

    Builds seen at this event

All four lists used Stacked Deck and Stupefy at three copies, while Rebuttal totaled 11 copies. Applied Researchers, Dredge Up, Ravenbloom Student, and Shock Blast appeared in three of four lists at three copies each.

    Zed

    Zed, Master of Shadows

    Why this rank

Zed ranks twenty-fourth with two complete entries at 57th and 70th. Both results sit outside the Top 32, so this Snapshot records a shared concept without a high placement conversion.

    Meta read

Zed's lists bridge Flow, banish triggers, and Shadow Clone pressure. Death Mark burns three, creates a Clone that can banish a unit from the trash when it attacks, and can later be played for Flow before it banishes itself. Either banish empowers Zed, whose payoff is a discard-then-draw filter rather than direct combat power. The common Rhasa and Shadow Order Disciple package adds more trash and movement value, but the deck still needs both stocked trash and a productive card to discard.

    Key interaction

    Death Mark powers Zed twice

A Death Mark Shadow Clone may banish a unit from the trash when it attacks, empowering Zed. Playing Death Mark later for Flow also banishes the spell after resolution, providing another Empower trigger for Zed's discard-then-draw action.

    Builds seen at this event

Both lists maxed Death Mark, Rhasa the Sunderer, Shadow Order Disciple, and Stacked Deck. Kennen, Noxus Hopeful, and Traveling Merchant appeared in both at five total copies each.

    Fiora

    Fiora, Grand Duelist

    Why this rank

Fiora is twenty-fifth because its only public list finished 61st. The event supplies one complete build, so the rank should be read as that deck's recorded result rather than a general verdict.

    Meta read

The featured list concentrates Might on individual carriers to cross Fiora's five-Might threshold. Punch First grants +5 for the turn, Doran's Blade and B.F. Sword add Equipment pressure, and Riposte can counter a spell while granting Might equal to that spell's Energy cost. Every new Mighty unit can let Fiora channel a rune exhausted; Unsung Hero then draws two if it dies while Mighty. The same concentration that activates those payoffs also places more value on keeping one unit alive.

    Key interactions

Mighty turns into runes and cards

Punch First can make even a small unit Mighty for the turn, allowing Fiora to exhaust and channel a rune. If the chosen unit is Unsung Hero and it dies while still Mighty, its Deathknell draws two cards.

    Riposte protects the carrier

Riposte counters a chosen spell and gives a friendly unit Might equal to that spell's Energy cost for the turn, simultaneously protecting a concentrated threat and potentially crossing Fiora's Mighty threshold.

    Builds seen at this event

The featured list maxed B.F. Sword, First Mate, Kayle, Pit Rookie, Punch First, Rampage, and Unsung Hero. It supplemented that carrier plan with two each of Doran's Blade, Riposte, and several protection or combat cards.

    Lux

    Lux, Lady of Luminosity

    Why this rank

Lux ranks twenty-sixth with a single complete entry at 69th. The build is fully visible, but its one result is insufficient for claims about consistency or broader field position.

    Meta read

Lux adds a card whenever a spell with Energy cost five or more is played, and this list leans into expensive card economy. Progress Day draws four while its play also triggers Lux for another card, and Promising Future creates an Energy-cost bypass turn for both players while Power costs still apply. Ekko and Forge of the Future provide board pieces that can later recycle themselves or cards from trash, and Shadow's Call can turn a non-Temporary unit into two immediate cards. The shell accrues resources, but much of that value arrives through expensive or delayed sequences rather than immediate battlefield Might.

    Key interactions

    Progress Day becomes five cards

Progress Day draws four cards and has an Energy cost high enough to trigger Lux for another draw. Together, the spell and Legend trigger produce five cards.

    Cash in Ekko later

Shadow's Call can give Ekko Temporary and draw two. When Ekko later dies to Temporary, its Deathknell recycles it to ready the controller's runes.

    Builds seen at this event

The featured list used three copies each of Applied Researchers, Dredge Up, Ekko, Forge of the Future, Progress Day, Promising Future, Sacrifice, Seal of Insight, Shadow's Call, Soaring Scout, Stupefy, and Time Warp.

    Sivir

    Sivir, Battle Mistress

    Why this rank

Sivir is twenty-seventh because its sole public entry finished 84th. The list is complete, but one lower-field result does not distinguish Legend strength from this particular construction.

    Meta read

The featured list has one direct rune-recycling trigger for Sivir: conquering Sigil of the Storm requires recycling a rune, which lets Sivir make an exhausted Gold gear. Around that hook, Catalyst develops runes, Dazzling Aurora free-plays a unit from the deck at end step, and The Harrowing can later play a unit from the trash while ignoring only its Energy cost. Fading Memories can deliberately make a battlefield unit Temporary, but that reanimation line spans multiple cards and timing windows.

    Key interactions

    Temporary unit into reanimation

Fading Memories can give a unit at a battlefield Temporary, causing it to die at its controller's next Beginning Phase. The Harrowing can later play that unit from the trash while ignoring its Energy cost, although its Power cost still must be paid.

    Aurora bypasses the high cost

Dazzling Aurora reveals until it finds a unit at end of turn and plays that unit while ignoring its cost. The featured list paired the gear with three Elder Dragons.

Sigil turns a conquer into Gold

Conquering Sigil of the Storm requires its controller to recycle one rune. That rune recycle triggers Sivir, allowing her to exhaust and play an exhausted Gold gear token.

    Builds seen at this event

The featured list maxed Catalyst of Aeons, Dazzling Aurora, Elder Dragon, Flurry of Blades, Gust, Lunar Boon, Mobilize, Sabotage, Scryer's Bloom, Stacked Deck, and Treasure Trove. Fading Memories and The Harrowing were singletons.

    Vex

    Vex, Gloomist

    Why this rank

Vex is twenty-eighth with two complete finishes at 86th and 105th. Both sit near the bottom of the captured field, which is a result signal for these builds without supplying a causal explanation.

    Meta read

The shared core is defensive and positional: Defy and Discipline protect units, Back Off stuns and draws when played from hand, and Vex, Apathetic stuns an opposing unit played to its battlefield and prevents that unit from moving that turn. Those effects can help preserve a battlefield long enough to hold, which is the event that lets the Legend draw. Emperor's Divide can withdraw friendly units for redeployment, but doing so may also remove the presence needed to hold. Beyond that core, the two lists split sharply.

    Key interactions

    Stun supports the hold draw

Vex, Apathetic stuns an opposing unit played to its battlefield and prevents that unit from moving for the turn. Back Off supplies another stun and draws if cast from hand; preserving control through scoring can then let the Vex Legend draw on a hold.

    Preserve friendly units

Emperor's Divide can move any number of friendly units at one battlefield back to base during a legal Action window. It does not move enemies; it enables withdrawal and redeployment, with the tradeoff of reducing the board left to hold.

    Builds seen at this event

Both lists shared Defy, Discipline, Emperor's Divide, Back Off, Star-Crossed, Vex, Apathetic, and Bandle Tree. Most proactive units appeared in only one list, so the evidence supports a defensive core rather than a settled threat package.

    Ivern

    Ivern, Green Father

    Why this rank

Ivern is twenty-ninth because its only public entry finished 104th. This is a fully visible singleton deck at the bottom of the event ledger, not enough evidence for a format-wide judgment.

    Meta read

The list builds a wide board across the four tags named by Ivern and Friendship. Ivern can replace a conquered or held battlefield with Brush, where Bird, Cat, Dog, Poro, and Ivern units gain one Might; Frisky Hunter supplies a Cat body and a Bird token from one play. Friendship scales its temporary buff by represented tags, while Daisy! becomes cheaper for each tag and can stun when all four are present. The engine's power is distributed across several bodies and tag requirements rather than concentrated in one card.

    Key interactions

One play adds Cat and Bird

Frisky Hunter is a Cat and creates a Bird token when played. Both tags receive Ivern's Brush bonus and count toward Friendship's temporary Might boost.

    Four tags unlock Daisy!

Daisy! costs one less Energy for each Bird, Cat, Dog, and Poro tag among friendly units. With all four represented, its attack also stuns an enemy unit at that battlefield.

    Builds seen at this event

The featured list maxed Defy, Hidden Blade, Mutated Mouser, and Trusty Ramhound. It used two each of Affectionate Poro, Astral Heron, Friendship, Frisky Hunter, Stalwart Poro, and several other tag-support cards.
