What Sett Rewards

The Boss · printed ability

If a buffed unit you control would die, you may pay 1 Power, exhaust me, and spend its buff to heal it, exhaust it, and recall it instead. (Send it to base. This isn't a move.) When you conquer, ready me.

Sett is built around making conquers matter; the fun is turning a battlefield win into more than just the normal point.

How it plays

The Game Plan

Sett's combat is unfair because buffed units are allowed to take risky fights. If they would die, Sett can spend the buff, exhaust, and recall them exhausted; conquering readies him to threaten the rescue again.

Strengths

  • Saves buffed units from dying
  • Conquer trigger reopens the ability
  • Excellent with cheap buffs

Watch Outs

  • Needs a buffed unit and power
  • Recall sends the unit to base exhausted
  • Poor without conquer pressure

Turn by Turn

  1. 1Early: get a buff onto the unit most likely to fight first.
  2. 2Midgame: attack confidently with a buffed unit, then use Sett's rescue if combat would kill it.
  3. 3Late: chain conquers into ready triggers so the opponent cannot trade cleanly into your buffed board.

New to this Legend? Pick Sett if you want aggressive combat where buffs also become insurance against death.
