Ionia // Unleashed

Ivern

Green Father · Battlefield control · Intermediate

Calm domainCalmSustain
Order domainOrderTeamwork

Ivern replaces battlefields he conquers or holds with Brush battlefield tokens, changing the terrain to suit his game plan.

Playstyle

Calm preserves board stability while Order coordinates the new terrain. Ivern wants to win battlefields and immediately reshape them into Brush zones, creating a home-field advantage that the opponent cannot easily exploit.

What Makes This Legend Different

Green Father: "When you conquer or hold, you may exhaust me to replace that battlefield with a Brush battlefield token. (Bird, Cat, Dog, Poro, and Ivern units have +1 in Brush. It can be swapped back when scored.)"

Ivern is built around making conquers matter; the fun is turning a battlefield win into more than just the normal point.

Strengths

  • Unique battlefield manipulation
  • Strong board control
  • Rewards territorial play

Watch Outs

  • Effect depends on conquering first
  • Brush benefit needs supporting cards
  • Can be slow to set up

Game Plan

  1. 1Early: establish cards that support the Calm / Order identity.
  2. 2Midgame: set up durable turns and preserve key units while using Order cards to keep the plan stable.
  3. 3Late: convert the strongest battlefield position into Hold points instead of chasing every fight.

Pick Ivern if you like controlling the table by changing the ground the game is played on.
