Shurima // Unleashed

Rengar

Pridestalker · Buff beatdown · Intermediate

Fury domainFuryAggressive
Body domainBodyStats

Rengar gives a unit +1 Might every time a unit enters play, creating a board that grows larger as the game progresses.

Playstyle

Fury pressures early and Body provides the stats to back it up. Rengar wants to play units constantly, buffing something each time, and turn that growing board into battlefield control through sheer Might.

What Makes This Legend Different

Pridestalker: "When you play a unit, give a unit +1 this turn."

Rengar is defined by that printed ability, so the deck should be evaluated by how often it turns that text into battlefield control.

Strengths

  • Consistent buff engine
  • Scales with unit density
  • Simple proactive plan

Watch Outs

  • Buffs are temporary
  • Needs to play units every turn
  • Can be outmaneuvered by control

Game Plan

  1. 1Early: establish cards that support the Fury / Body identity.
  2. 2Midgame: use pressure and combat damage to force early decisions while using Body cards to keep the plan stable.
  3. 3Late: convert the strongest battlefield position into Hold points instead of chasing every fight.

Pick Rengar if you like playing creatures and watching your whole board get bigger.

Starter Deck

Rengar does not currently have a preconstructed starter deck in the Hextech starter deck library.
