Bloodharbor Ripper can return a friendly battlefield unit to hand for one Energy and an exhaust, adding an exhausted Gold for later. Matriarch gives the deck another route to reuse a traded unit, while Fizz turns a recovered body into a replayed spell. Bewitching Spirit's repeated discard and the cheap removal package make that reuse matter. Keep enough presence at the battlefield that buying back a card does not cost the next point.

• Early gameKeep affordable bodies and a way to turn their movement into something useful. Merchant filters a card when it moves; it does not generate an extra card overall. Hunter makes exhausted Gold for later Power, so an early safe move can help fund the colored spells in a later turn. Spirit is a useful follow-up when reducing the opponent's hand matters, while Gust Monk needs a card in a trash for its paid play effect to grant Assault. I would return a hand overloaded with Kharox, Forerunner and recursion that has no early body to work with. Hiding Dockside, Switcheroo or Tornado costs a Power and uses the field's facedown slot; they cannot be played from that hiding action until a later turn.
• MidgamePreserve the holder while using the trash to improve the exchange. At Void Gate, an unempowered Matriarch with a previously hidden Tornado can defend a five-Might attack if Fizz and Void Seeker are in the trash and one Power is available. Play Tornado from facedown, empower Matriarch here, recover Fizz to base, then use Fizz to play Seeker for only its Fury Power. Gate increases the hit to five, Seeker draws a card and is recycled, and the two defenders remain if nothing disrupts the line. A ready Gold from an earlier turn can supply that Power; a new exhausted Gold cannot. When this setup is absent, use the actual removal or combat trick in hand. Falling Star and Piercing Light are normal spells from hand, not combat Reactions. Fizz's play effect is what permits their replay as part of a response.
• Late gameStop buying back units once keeping them on the board wins. Vex can make a newly developed enemy attacker wait, but her trigger does not counter its play effect, and existing units still need an answer. Forerunner gives the deck a larger body whose death leaves two Mechs at base; bouncing it gives no Mechs. Kharox is the slower payoff when there is time for its six-Energy body and separate Empower. A previously hidden Tornado at Kharox's field can supply that empowerment instead, letting you take a unit from the opponent's trash after burning three. Choose the payoff the actual board needs. Invert Timelines can repair an empty hand but also gives the opponent four fresh cards, and Fizz-replayed Star-Crossed is recycled after use, not left in the trash for an endless loop. Keep the next attack and Hold ahead of the next value play.
