Ionia // Unleashed

Master Yi

Wuju Master · Scaling combat · Intermediate

Calm domainCalmSustain
Body domainBodyStats

Master Yi gives all units +1 Might at Level 6 and makes them enter ready at Level 11, rewarding a disciplined leveling curve.

Playstyle

Calm supports the patient level-up plan while Body provides the combat stats to survive while building. Master Yi wants to reach the level thresholds that unlock global buffs, then overwhelm the opponent with a board that is bigger and faster than anything they prepared for.

What Makes This Legend Different

Wuju Master: "[Level 6][>] Your units have +1 . (While you have 6+ XP, get the effect.) [Level 11][>] Your units enter ready."

Master Yi is defined by that printed ability, so the deck should be evaluated by how often it turns that text into battlefield control.

Strengths

  • Global buffs at level thresholds
  • Strong late-game board
  • Simple scaling plan

Watch Outs

  • Needs to reach higher levels
  • Early game is weaker
  • Falls off if leveling is disrupted

Game Plan

  1. 1Early: establish cards that support the Calm / Body identity.
  2. 2Midgame: set up durable turns and preserve key units while using Body cards to keep the plan stable.
  3. 3Late: convert the strongest battlefield position into Hold points instead of chasing every fight.

Pick Master Yi if you like watching your entire board get stronger as the game goes on.
