What Rumble Rewards

Mechanized Menace · printed ability

Your Mechs have [Shield]. (+1 Might while they're defenders.)

Rumble asks you to care about combat math; the fun is setting up fights where your units survive because the Legend ability changes the numbers.

How it plays

The Game Plan

Rumble is a Mech tribal pressure deck with a defensive twist. Fury/Mind cards set up attacks, but the Legend text makes Mechs better at holding ground after they take a battlefield.

Strengths

  • Mechs gain defensive Shield
  • Good attack-then-Hold pattern
  • Rewards tribal deckbuilding

Watch Outs

  • Needs enough Mechs
  • Shield only helps while defending
  • Non-Mech draws dilute the Legend text

Turn by Turn

  1. 1Early: deploy Mechs rather than generic bodies whenever possible.
  2. 2Midgame: conquer or occupy a battlefield, then let Shield make the opponent's counterattack worse.
  3. 3Late: protect the Mech that can keep holding while spells clear the next lane.

New to this Legend? Pick Rumble if you want a tribal deck where your attackers become better defenders after taking ground.

How to Start Playing Rumble

Rumble has a preconstructed deck — Rumble - Mechanized Menace (Spiritforged) — so you can learn the Legend with a tuned out-of-the-box list before spending on singles.

Riftbound Legend: Mechanized Menace. Your Mechs have [Shield]. (+1 [S] while they're defenders.)

Mechanized Menace

Your Legend — starts in play, sets your two domains

Riftbound Unit: Rumble, Hotheaded. Your Mechs each have [Assault]. (+1 [S] while we're attackers.)
When I conquer, you may recycle another friendly unit to play a Mech from your trash. Reduce its Energy cost by the Might of the unit you recycled.

Keep

  • Keep the Fury/Mind pressure-and-tools identity.
  • Keep cards that convert setup into a decisive Action Phase.

Upgrade First

  • Add efficient Fury threats that make your setup matter.
  • Add Mind cards that smooth draws or improve timing.

Try Next

  • Try a more aggressive rune split if your local games are fast.
  • Try a slower tool package if you need to fight through removal.
