What Garen Rewards
Might of Demacia - Starter · printed ability
“When you conquer, if you have 4+ units at that battlefield, draw 2.”
Garen is built around making conquers matter; the fun is turning a battlefield win into more than just the normal point.
How it plays
The Game Plan
Garen rewards committing a real squad to the battlefield rather than relying on one giant unit. If you conquer with 4+ units there, the draw-2 trigger refills the hand and makes the next coordinated attack easier to assemble.
Strengths
- Draws 2 from 4+ unit conquers
- Straightforward board plan
- Rewards coordinated attacks
Watch Outs
- Needs four units at the conquered battlefield
- Vulnerable to sweepers and stuns
- Can overcommit into the wrong fight
Turn by Turn
- 1Early: develop multiple bodies instead of putting every resource on one unit.
- 2Midgame: choose the battlefield where 4+ units can realistically conquer and trigger Garen.
- 3Late: use the draw-2 refill to keep presenting wide attacks after the first board is answered.
New to this Legend? Pick Garen if you want a starter deck that teaches when to go wide and when to commit enough units to earn a refill.
