What Ahri Rewards

Nine-Tailed Fox · printed ability

When an enemy unit attacks a battlefield you control, give it -1 Might this turn, to a minimum of 1 Might.

Ahri asks you to care about combat math; the fun is setting up fights where your units survive because the Legend ability changes the numbers.

How it plays

The Game Plan

Ahri is a fortress legend. She does not need to target or spend energy; attackers into your controlled battlefields get smaller, so Calm/Mind cards can turn marginal defenses into clean Holds.

Strengths

  • Passive defensive Might reduction
  • Strong at protecting controlled battlefields
  • Pairs well with stun and bounce

Watch Outs

  • Only works when enemies attack your controlled battlefields
  • Can be slow to take points
  • Weak if forced to attack constantly

Turn by Turn

  1. 1Early: claim a battlefield you can realistically defend.
  2. 2Midgame: make opponents attack into Ahri's -1 Might tax, then layer stuns or tricks to preserve the Hold.
  3. 3Late: win through repeated protected Holds after the opponent's attacks become inefficient.

New to this Legend? Pick Ahri if you enjoy making enemy attacks worse before combat math even starts.
